The flowers visit Paternoster and the surrounding area in their droves during flower season, which commences around August/September, depending on the rain.

You can see gazillions of flowers in the Cape Columbine Reserve, along the road into Paternoster, in neighbouring towns and villages, in the West Coast National Park, and even along the West Coast Road.

In recent years, we've spotted especially impressive displays in and around Hopefield.
